Covid 19 and precautions we will be taking when returning to work
Further to a conversation with Stockport Council and advice obtained from the Kennel Club, we will be opening with very limited availability from Monday the 18/5/2018, subject to the following limits.
1) Day Care - Up to 4 dogs from separate families will be accepted for day care, bookings will be taken on a first come first served basis but preference will be given to dogs from key worker family's. Single day care may be available at a price of £20 per day, if you require this please contact me to check availability
2) Walks - Group walks and one to one walks are available - dogs will only be taken on group walks with the owners permission, if a 1 to1 walk is required the charge will be £12 per walk - group walks will be charged at our normal rate of £9 per walk
We appreciate that everyone is concerned about the current situation, as a result we will be taking certain precautions to minimise the risk to ourselves and our valued customers.
1) Day Care - all day care dogs will need to be dropped off between 7.30 and 8.30 am, to ensure social distancing please let your dog into my secure front garden, leave any food near the front gates and then exit the garden, once you are out of the front garden I will wipe your dog with a pet friendly wipe and let you dog enter the house/rear garden. The same process will be used in reverse for when you collect your dog.
To minimise the risks initially the dogs will only be taken on one walk a day, during the rest of the day they are welcome to spend time in the garden or resting in the house.
2) Walks - when collecting or dropping your dog off we will ensure that hands are washed with hand gel prior to entering your premises, and that face masks are worn while in your premises. If you or anybody is in when we collect/drop-off your dog we ask that you observe the social distancing rules. In addition to the above your dog will be wiped with a dog friendly wipe when being dropped off.
3) If you have any coronavirus symptoms we are sorry we cannot take your dog for a walk, if you are self isolating for any other reason we will be happy to take your dog for a walk, please contact me to discuss arrangement for collecting/dropping off your dog.
4) Payments - We will not accept any cash payments- all payments should be made via a bank transfer weekly or monthly - if you need my bank details please let me know.
Please note that during this time we are unable to accept any new dogs for day care or walking.
